Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Content Management Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with digitization personnel, archiving software engineers, and other team members to prepare and input data for our digital repositories. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects and contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with digitization personnel and archiving software engineers to prepare and input data for digital repositories.
• Ensure the accuracy, organization, and quality of archived files.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to content management processes and best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to digital archiving and repositories.
• Create scripts for handling data and managing server operations in the context of digital repositories.
• Monitor and maintain server performance, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of content management systems and digital archiving processes.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience working with servers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
